are you guys using. I see these amazing pics on here all the time and was just wondering what camera's you use. It's almost like you guys are swimming in your aquarium with an underwater camera to get some of these pics.

so yea, what camera's are you using?

I have a Canon 5D. But its not the camera, its the lighting that makes a good picture. I still havent figured that part out yet.

It's worth saving up for Shea, they are an awesome camera,
big price drop on them to since Nikon took out the D90.
I got my D70S second hand on a photography forums
classified section for about a third the price of a new one,
great deals to be had there, and the best thing is you find
that most of the guys there look after their equipment as they
are serious photographers.

I use a canon xti. Nothing like a d80 or any of the big dollar kits, but a nice set of lenses and filters and you are well on your way. Today's good DSLRs are all very capable platforms. For myself, (a complete amateur really) using it recreationally, it serves its purpose quite well and I see no reason to spend thrice the amount on something that I personally wouldn't use to its full ability. YMMV-it depends on what you intend to use it for and to what extent

I have 2 550EX flashes, an STE2 transmitter, and an Alien Bee B800 strobe. I just havent come up with anything that works well yet. Still experimenting.
