stylish or not stylish

Hey all.. alex here... i need to know if there is anything I can do to this tank to make it a better part of my bedroom... just so you know, i have it sitting on an old organ shell than can easily hold 300 kilos

The tank is a 30 gallon tank. I am trying to post a picture...

I guess I cant... anyways.. the tank has black and white gravel on teh bottom(obviously) with some larger rocks around my airstones. there are two blue air-tubes going up to the airator. on teh gravel, I have a plant and two decorations. There is an HOB filter as well as a sponge filter... the kind that needs air to work. I investred in a surface skimmer, but I cant get it to work...

Shame you can't get the pics up.

Do you have the tank planted? IMO I would remove the gravel and place some new gravel in of some more natural color.

Also dose this tank have fish?
