I just brought home two tiny Green Severums.:1luvu: They are about the size of a quarter. I just got done acclimating them to my 10 gallon. It is only going to be their temporary home until they get big enough to go into my 75gal with a Pink Kissing and Blue Gourami. i love these little guys, they are already starting to show personality and are messing around with eachother! I just have to keep my eye on them and the water parameters. Hobbs i highley suggest you get one (or two if you can). They are great! Wish me luck!

I found this article on Severums today and thought you may like to read it. Tell what all they like to eat.

Keep me informed how your little guys are doing. I'm so anxious to get mine.

I wish I could have kept my severum but who new he was going to be an aggressive one. I didnt have the room to keep a pair of them anyways so I guess its better for him to be back in the fish store.

Who knows what he would have turned into. He may have been a very sweet fish but I think cichlids faced with other cichlids have to get the dominance thing worked out for the beginning as to who will rule the tank. Possibly had he been in a tank with community fish that ignored him, he would have been mellow, as well.

I hope to keep mine with my Silver Dollars and my one crabby angelfish for lack of anywhere else to keep him. Hopefully the angel will get HIS butt kicked once instead of it always being the other way around.
