As the title says and I have been looking but jeez I am bewildered and in need of a little guidance. I need a college that can give me all the stuff I need to receive a degree in marine bio. but the prices are staggering and so far away. I need a college on the east coast too so if anyone has any suggestions please tell me!

This might not be your forte, but why dont you try looking at some Community Colleges. Youd be surprised at what they offer and you can save a TON of money. You could do what im doing, go to Comm. College for 2 years and come out with an Associates Degree, then transfer to a 4 year school. It might sound dumb, but i assure you it isnt. It is a sensible path to take.

IMO anyone looking for a college for marine biology or marine geography/geology should look seriously into the U of Hawaii. Expensive but well worth it for those degrees. There is finalncial aid as well.

Demonshark-
I was doing some research on this and piggybacking on NorthernBoy's suggestion but instead was gonna suggest Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Here's a link to some info from their website about marine bio. Hopefully, it helps you with your decision. [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]
I also recommend that you look into community colleges like 100gw suggested but narrow your search to ones that are near the schools on the website that drumachine found; they may have a joint study program with those schools for marine bio.
One last recommendation would be to call the aquariums on the east coast and see if they have some type of work study program with a local university, college, or community college. You may be able to find a job at the aquarium and get an education at the same time.
Good luck with your college hunting.
