Has anyone ever heard of a banana plant losing its bananas? I just redid the 75 and the banana plant has completely lost its bananas. Plants were blocking the base for a long time so I didn't notice it before today. I know it is actually a banana plant because the leaves are the same, it is where the banana plant was, etc. There is not even a bump, just smooth like the thick roots near the base of a big sword. They just thinned down to normal thickness. What issue is this a symptom of?

Is that plant still living? The bananas are the bulbs and separated from the bulb, I think it will die. My plants did really well for a while and grew clear to the waters surface. Then they just died. :(

It looks fine. All the leaves are fine, it has two pads at the surface.
They didn't drop off, they just shrank to nothing more than a normal root.

Strange one on me. I bet those roots will grow into the sand, tho.

They already have. It is like the bananas just disappeared, shrank down to normal roots. I have had this plant for a long time though, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
