Some good news in these bleak times.

Seeing as I live in florida, I am happy to hear that the manatee's are making it. I know it was touch and go for several years. Stiffer laws have made an effect, helping the manatees.

They really are stunning part of FL. try to get to see them whenever I am there.

Two of my sisters are taking a trip to see them. I hope they take lots of pictures. Good to hear about the record numbers.thumbs2: thumbs2: thumbs2:

I would guess the economy played a big role in that this year. At the price of gas and so many out of work, those boats aren't out like they usually are and those boats kill a lot of manatees every year. I also don't think Florida had a hard frost this winter.
