My guppy's been eating out of my hand for some time now, but today, my angelfish and siamese algae eater decided to join in. It's pretty funny watching them all push and shove to get to the flake. The guppy will chase the angel and the SAE away every once in a while too...hehe. I'll see if I can get a good picture up, as I don't have any digital video recorders :(

Hand feeding is always fun. It impresses the friends too.

It's kinda annoying when the fish all nip at my arm when I'm trying to prune/move stuff around, though, hehe. Dead skin, yummy.

Heh, its the same with the angels in both my tanks. I started feeding them bloodworms by hand, and now whenever I stick my hand or arm in the tank, there's a mini frenzy cause they think it's bloodworm time. In the absence of bloodworms they try to eat my fingers and beauty spots instead.

LOL I have a couple of dark freckles on my arm, too, and my jack dempsey has poked at it a couple of times. I hand feed him the frozen krill, which is also pink with a couple of dark flecks in it. Hee hee! Good thing he doesn't have any teeth yet!

yeah, he jumped 3 inches like a dolphin and got me good.
Now, I literally feed from a distance, or give him a big cricket to chew on, and he actually slows down with a cricket in his mouth

probably forever and a half...but fish are really smart no matter what people say...and they don't smell bad...or maybe i can't smell...

I don't think it smells unless I stick my nose in it, but then again, I'm probably used to it and I smoke, too. I had a non-smoker friend come by once and they could faintly smell the water, but they said it just sort of reminded them when they used to go out on the water with their dad long ago. It's a nostalgic smell for me, too, but I can imagine how some wouldn't like it.
