I couldn't believe my eyes when I fed the fish in the pond a little while ago. There was a little orange fish swimming with the 3 goldfish, so I caught it to have a look at it, and it's definitely a baby goldfish.

I did expect my goldfish to breed eventually, but this is a bit soon. The first goldfish moved in late August, but the other two moved in early October, and I picked some of the smallest ones at the pet store, so I didn't expect them to breed any time soon.

The baby is about 2.5 cm long, so it must be at least a couple months old, and I thought they weren't supposed to get any colour until they're around 7 months, but it's definitely golden with a white belly and white on its fins.

I think it's adorable:)

Haha:p

The pond is a bit oddly shaped, so I don't know the exact volume, but about 500 litres I guess. Only 3 adults in it, and also some zebra danios which also breed like rabbits.

Thanks:)

I guess there's more of them in there as well, but the water is a bit murky so I can't see any. New filter is on its way tho, so it should be easier to see them then and keep an eye on their growth:)
