whats wrong?

I have a 55 gal tank with cichlids (various). I did a complete tank cleaning a couple of weeks ago. After a week one of the cichlids is turning black. Body and fins...is this a desease?

I am fairly new at having this tank.

Can you give any more info as to your water parameters, what kind of fish, and tankmates? It would prolly help people a lot. And maybe even what a complete tank cleaning entails that you did a few weeks ago. I know it's a lot to ask, but specific info helps people a lot.

Prolly should be doing WC's more often than every couple weeks, most problems could be helped a lot, if not solved by more maintenance.

I agree we need your parameters and we need to know exactly what you did while cleaning it.

What kind of cichlids? How big are they?
How big is your tank?Is it cycled?
We do need more info to be able to help you !
