Ohio weather!

Right now it is 0F degrees but with the wind chill it feels like -14F. That is 46 degrees below freezing.

For those of you using a system that makes sense, it feels like -25C

lord have mercy , it is cold out there!!! i work at an elementary school out here and i seen the lost and found box has TONS of hats and gloves and scarfs that were not claimed , so the social worker and i will be passing the items out to any child we see that doesnt have one...lord have mercy it is freeezing!!!!!!!!

I live around findley. Wow thats crazy who knew all of these people lived so close to me. anyways its the same thing here so I had to go down to my grandmas to sleep after work that way my brother and sisters didnt wake me up.

Well the news said this will be our coldest day of the week. AND Boy were they Right!!!! today has been SOOOOO COLD it is like 6 degrees and with the wind chill it's like -14F to top it off we are having High Winds at like 25-35 MPH. Put it this way, my 7yr old son told me that when he got off the school bus, just walking across the street to my van, his boggies froze to his nose and it hurt!..LOL AND he had on a Ski Mask!!

BTW it must be NICE to have 70 degree weather right now..while the rest of us freeze!...lol I am used to it being rubbed in my face my Daddy lives in Arizona, and goes swimming like everyday. I really think he does just to tease us back here. You enjoy your nice warm 70 degree day Scuba Guy:thumb:

seriously speaking kids need to stay home for a few days from school , it is just too cold for them!!! when we unload the kiddies off the school bus we take them right inside the building ASAP!! i feel bad for the workers that have to work outside in this weather , it is just too brutal out there! lolol i used to live in florida for few years i cant really take this harsh weather for too long..supposed to be like this all week long too..the windchills are just banannas!

Have you gone to garys tropical aquarium? Its in maumee right by the big movie theater, and its on the same road. But I actually go to Jacks aquarium and pets in findley. I think its a chain store but they keep really good care of there fish tanks and they have alot of cichlid tanks. Jacks is next to the new walmart in findley, Its right next to I-75

Well you also have a natural "furr coat" unlike the rest of us! So I can see why the cold wouldn't bother you all that much...lol

My hubby is an Exterior Specialist (roofing,siding,windows, waterproofing,ect) Poor guy is in this all day long, sometimes for 12-14 hrs.

I know we had a mild winter so far but I am all set with this STINGING COLD Weather...I really love snow but NOT the Freezing COLD!!! Summer needs to hurry UP!!!!

I dont know how he is doing it! lol. I used to pump gas and that was bad enough..

I agree! It's very cold here in Ohio. We had the day off from school today and will probably have tomorrow off too. It's supposed to get colder tonight! Not good for me, I get sick all the time! Ask Adam...I'm sick more than I am well...I can't wait for it to warm up to atleast 70 degrees!

Yeah Gary's is my main fish store in the area he's great but sadly his selection of cichlids is less then desirable. I will definatly have to take a road trip this week down there. Thanks for the great info. :thumb: :thumb:
