Hi, I have a tank with 5 Silver Tip, 5 Lemon and 10 Neons.

When I first got them they were all schooling together with no problems but recently, I've noticed The Silver Tips and Lemons are terrorizing each other. Most of them have bits of their fins missing and every single one of them are in their own little spot and not schooling.

My Neons have no problems and are schooling together but are being chased by the Silver Tips and Lemons.

What's going on? :help: Thanks.

Oh and I justed notice one of My Silver Tipped doesn't have the black color on the tail and a bit smaller then the others?

I have no experience as of yet, but from what I have read so far is it is possible that your tank may be too small or that a female maybe present amongst the males in the tank and they may be fighting over her or there maybe something that has changed such as PH of the water or other toxins that may be stressing the fish. I noticed no info in your profile. Can you post some information about your tank and its inhabitants and any other pertinent info so other might chime in and assist you?

Thanks for the reply.

I check my water every morning, Everything seems fine PH, Ammo, Temp, Etc. I have a 60 gallon with lots of plants and hiding spots.

They all seem to be on their own and have their own little spot. But sometimes you will see a couple of them swimming together either then that they are chasing each other.

And the one that didn't have the black marking on the tail has the marking now?

.
