View Full Version : Angelfishes
Currently have two angel fishes in a 15 gallon tank. Would like to know what are the most suitable conditions to get them to breed and how often would they most likely spawn?

I think for angels its clear clean water, and plants. Wait for someone else to answer as I only have bred em once:1: :4:

15 gallons is pretty small for angelfish. They get 4-5 inches in body size but fin to fin, closer to 8 inches.
But to get them to breed, 82 degrees in water temp and very clean water with activity blocked from their view. People often cover the tanks with something so as not to distract them.
They are impossible to sex. Generally you have to get about 6 and see what pairs up and then move the pair to their own tank. Perferrably 30 gallon.
