UPDATE: On worlds most difficult dog!!

I have managed to train Balboa from wanting to KILL my kitty....to this!! LOL
Its been daily training and progress...and we aren't COMPLETELY there yet...but this is much much better then having them on different floors of the house!!! LOL Just thought I would give everyone an update!! :hmm3grin2orange: The 3rd photo is of Boa just inches from her....and was told to lay and stay......and did well!!!

Thank you!! It has been hard work....but I really am hoping to get him to be a calm and functional family dog, so that he doesn't have to be re-homed again! Its not his fault he wasn't taught better prior to us getting him! He is doing well though!!

We had a Shih-tzu as well...she had her quirks, but wasn't really stubborn. I could lay a plate on the floor with her treat and walk away. Come back five min. later, and she's still be staring at it. The funniest thing was that she would refuse to lose sight of it. If anyone walked in front of her, she'd be absolutely frantic to keep her eyes on the treat. She also thought that if she refused to look at another animal, which she was afraid of, then that animal couldn't see her!!!:hmm3grin2orange:
