I am running a fishless reef right now...Since my last clown died of some sort of illness...should I wait 3.5 or 4 weeks before i decide to stock anything else?

Was the fish ill before death or did it appear healthy? How long was it in the tank? If it was healthy and in the tank for a month or two + amount of time you should be fine to add a new fish. If it seemed ill or you are sure that it had ich or something I would wait a month or two for things to clear up in your tank then try a new fish.

Sorry about the clown!
If it was cf disease, you should wait a while before adding any fish. Look at it as a good time to get your corals and inverts all sqared away.

A good positive suggestion...I like it. the necessity of quarantine :18: is speaking volumes right now

There could be a range of factors contributing to his death. I personally wouldn't hesitate leaving your reef fishless for about 8 weeks to ensure that potential parasites are starved.
