Disrespectful of these tourists, I think. These things are for sale at a fish market. I would not want to buy something someone has been licking.

Saw this in the news. It's amazing the stupid things people do. Who the heck would be licking fish at a fish market. That is just asking for kick in the butt.

Heard about this a while back. I was kind of saddened that people were so disrespectful, If you watch some of the video they really ticked some people off. Tsujiki market is one of the top places i dream of getting the privilege to visit.

I can see them getting upset ! Licking fish that are worth that kind of money is never wise. There are a lot of very sharp knives with very qualified handlers in that place.Hes lucky he didn't lose his tongue!
What video?

Uh! Thats horribly dis-respectful and plain gross!
The Japanese hate foreigners, and I don't blame them.
Other cultures simply see them as "crazy asians".
So they go around and act like idiots, because they think Japan's all crazy with people drinking on the streets and their crazy pop-culture scene.
Then they come back home and post angry YouTube videos about how racist the Japanese are because so many buildings and establishments wont allow foreigners inside without a Japanese citizen as their escort (and even then it's no guarantee).
People are just too incompetent to handle the culture shock in Japan. This is what happens when you believe that you've learned about a culture by watching their cartoons and gameshows...
why would someone want to lick something that smells all fishy anyway!!!!!!! E[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]!
