Try some spinach, all my fish can't seem to get enough.
Banana shocked me the most but only for an hour or so.It gets real soft.
The cucumber will not last more than 12 hours. They hold together great until you grab it.Use a net if you forget it in there for too long.

Ng...do you cook or parboil the spinach? I tried it raw awhile ago, and no one liked it...

Sharon,
Nope. You rinse the leaf under a lukewarm tap with your fingers, then rubber-band the stem of the leaf to a rounded stone. Make sure the leaf is on the substrate to make it easy for the fish to eat it.
Just so's you know, you should blanch Zucchini halves to make them al dente, and thus soft enough for your fish to eat it.

All my fish went nuts over peas today, i just threw em in some boiling water for about 30 or 40 seconds, pealed em, squished em up a bit and threw that in the tank.thumbs2:

My Pleco likes zucchini (I put it in raw). He was hanging from it. Very funny. Also sweet potato and romaine lettuce.

Today I gave my fish, fry, and my crabs some spinach. I took some frozen spinach from the freezer, put warm water in the bag and poured it into the tanks, and the little pieces poured right out of the bag perfectly. My fish absolutely loved it. The shrimps were very interested although I didn't have enough time to watch to see if they ate it. The fry loved it. My crabs didn't seem interested at all, but right now I caught my biggest crab munching on a leaf. :)
