Test kit???????

Can any one lead me to a test kit that can be had mail order. My local pet store is filthy. I almost decided not to do an aquarium when I went there today. I didn't think that I needed their advice on anything. Bought a few things at wallyworld but all they had were the strips.

Petsmart.com has the Master kit for 13.50 (which in my opinion is a great deal). They have good deals on a lot of stuff and if you order more than 50.00 it's free shipping. If there is a petsmart in your area you can print off the prices and get online prices in the store also.

API makes an accurate test kit. it's the "freshwater master test kit" you're looking for. tests for high and low range ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. petsmart carries them too. if you go to petsmart to get it, go online first to print out the invoice for the kit, then go to the store and they will price match. you will probably save about 50%.--jeff

Looks like API is the choice for you guys. I will have to order it. I think the nearest petsmart is 4 hours away. I have this problem with all of my hobbies, so I am used to mail ordering everything. Thanks for your help.

check your lfs too before ordering one. they may have it, they're very common

I also order mine from PetSmart when sending in an order for other items. Often they have free shipping on orders over $50 so I try to order enough to get the free shipping and isn't there always more things we need. sheesh
