I'm so embarrassed(blush) ...Can I delete the I Walked Away thread!!! This is Jake, Jasper, and Joey. :hmm3grin2orange: I've used the names before, so I hope that doesn't jinx things. They are doing fine so far. There was a major difference when these were netted, as compared to my other attempts at Clowns. These were very difficult to catch, and all the previous Clowns that have died were very easy to net.... I'm hoping it's a sign of good health in these guys!!!
Anyway, I'm very happy...I feel like a kid at Christmas!!!:hmm3grin2orange:

Cute!! You know that it's more than an impulse buy when you leave and then return to buy. At least that's I tell myself! ;)
Congrats!!!
Good luck with the Loaches. Hope all goes well for you.
They look to be in good shape.

Thanks LH...I am really pleased with them, but still anxious, considering I've lost a few previously. I'm due to do a water change tomorrow...hope it doesn't stress them. The previous deaths were always preceded by the loaches getting lethargic, then suffering "twitches" and then death. I did a lot of reading...seemed to indicate something in the water that was poisoning them. Water quality, in regards to the normal things, was not an issue. I considered copper, from the copper pipes, but have no way of knowing really. I tried Carbon, and no Carbon. Right now I have no carbon in the filter. I was using fake plants at the time, and some wires were showing rust, but I was assured on another forum that it would not be a problem. I really hope it works out this time!!!

You mentioned twitching. Makes me think they may have had ick. Darned things are hard to really get a look at sometimes to know for sure.

No, no ich...the twitching was similiar to seizure activity. The affected Clown would be laying on the sand having these periods of "shivering" ...it was hard to watch because it did seem to me like they were suffering. Same symptoms in every one that I've lost...

Jake, Jasper, and Joey are thriving. They are bigger than when I bought them...I'm tickled pink!!!

Oh Sharon they are lovely. I missed this first thread. Good news that they have grown and settled well. Makes me feel awfully guilty about my remaining loach who appears to have made best friends now with the male kirb.
Seeing yours together - I can imagine them playing hide and seek all around your tank.

They are nice to have in groups...They do seem to enjoy each other. I love to see them sleeping, all piled on top of each other. How big is your little guy now?

He's not that much bigger than when I got him. I'd say he is only about 1/2" bigger. But he grows steadily has a nice round body and looks well. He is active (when he's not pretending to be dead). The kribs gave him a hard time and as soon as dad krib fell out with mum and I removed her, they became best friends lol. I don't feel too sorry for the kirb, but I know clowns should be kept in groups and you know I have a small aquarium.
