hey i am planning on getting a male betta and four bronze corys in my 10 gal when it is done cycling. i saw during research that they prefer slightly acidic ph (6.5-7). can this be done 'naturally' (without chemicals) because my water seems to be 7.0 when kept with 33% water changes weekly.

Your water is perfectly fine, as far as pH, so no adjustment needed. If your water is fairly soft, it's a big plus for the fish you mentioned. Do you have gH and kH hardness test kits? They'll tell you what your water hardness is.
Any thoughts to planting the tank? Live plants plus driftwood is ideal for both the Betta and the Corys.

thanks for the quick reply dave
well to be honest i only have the ph test kit cos the masters are fair expensive and as a teenager my parents try to get me to pay for most of my hobby but do help out. If i consistantly change water weekly, siphon gravel fortnightly/monthly is it absolutly neccesary to get a master kit?

well i have a small anubias in the tank already, but as i did not know whne i bought it over a year ago, it grows ridiculously slow. i was thinking about some java moss but the only issues i have with that is would the 1 betta and 4 corys produce enough nitrate(or nitrite lol?) to keep the java moss going??
thanks

Absolutely! You should not have a problem.
For your water ,take a sample to your lfs and have them do a complete test for you.You can also buy the test kits seperately if you cannot afford the master kit.
