One of my golden zebra loaches (burmese or Botia histrionica which ever you know them by) is gravid!!!! This is supposed to be extremely rare. Wow! I didn't expect that. I tried to get a pic but was unsuccessful :(

I doubt I'll be able to. she has a buddy who seems pretty interested in her at the moment. I'm sure if I moved them they would be a bit to freaked out to breed as loaches tend to do. :( I can't believe she is gravid!

Does anyone know if this can be a problem? I keep reading all these bad stories about loaches becoming gravid and getting huge and uncomfortable without ever going back down too size.
