i just went to the pet store and traded my blue texas cichlid for a frontosa he is awesome. But earlier i had taken my madtom catfish and puth him with my tetras. So at the lfs i bought a knight goby to go in the 10g. Do these little guys need any salt to survive cause some say they do but he was in the freshwater section of the lfs and he seems to be doing great. Thanks:help:

They are brackish fish. Search Google for more info.

hmm seems like they do like mor brackish so does anybody know how to maintain a brackish aquarium? how much salt should i use. How many times do i put more salt in? Also since they like salt do they use the same amount as freshwater flounders Thanks.

knight gobies like it to be slightly brackish, my bumblebee gobies have a tablespoon of salt put in for every ten gallons, knights slightyl less
