Very nice Brookfish! What size tank do you need for them? They are pretty excellent!

Very pretty! I like how the blue just radiates off their fins.

Great pictures, as always!

They get pretty big Danny 14-16" in some cases, so as big a tank
as you have room for, mine are growing out in a 100g (metric) but
I have plans for a custom tank for them.

That first pic is amazing, the blue just pops out at you & that calvus is stunning.
Really fantastic markings on all of them.

Will the fronts & calvus each keep that same colouring through out there lives or does it darken or lighten ?

Fantastic shots Brookfish.

With proper care and feeding i'm hoping they will keep those colours CF,
I'm sure like most cichlids they will have fab breeding colours to when
the time comes.

Thanks for the great comments guys, much appreciated. :22:

Great shots!

Frontosa coloration is sometimes mood-dependent. Some fronts can shift into very dark shades causing the fish to appear nearly all black. The can also shift into the opposite shades, becoming paler (not permament pigment shifts, however). The colors can also become more vibrant when males intimidate other males or attempt to attract females.
