<sigh>

Whats the minimum tank size for 2 Bala Sharks?

I don't think I'll ever be able to re-home my 2, so I might aswel work on the parents on letting me get a big tank..

Yea really to properly home these guys you are talking about hundreds of gallons....

but a 75 gallon+ would at least give your two some swimming/turning room without any worries of them outgrowing it.

I have my 3 in a 70 gallon. But I am upgrading to a 120 gallon soon and they will go on there.:ssmile:

They could fit in a 70, but i wouldn't want to put them anywhere were there are sudden movements because they would go right through the glass..

One reason I have no carpet in my fish room. The hoover used to send them nuts. I now have a laminate floor that only needs sweeping and moping. Better for the water changes too. :ssmile:

I would go with a 150 and get some plexi to fit the sides and lotsa tall plants at each end.:22:
Good luck,so much for your fathers Oscar.Unless of course you get two tanks and a nice angle iron stand to hold them both!

IMO I would try and get as large as a tan as you can get for these fish. IMO I would try and move on to a 100+ gallon tank. They are quite cheap and very nice.
