Actually Shea, there are species of Plec that would be ok in a 10gal.

I know people who have Otocinclus in there 10 gallons. They don't get very big at all under 2".

Like? PM me if you'd like so we dont hijack this thread. I thought pleco's (all in general) grow big. Especially to big for a 10gal. I dont want to be stuck with a 16in fish or even an 8in for that matter right now without the means to take care of it.

LOL! I have a super cool LFS, too - they will order me any plec I want that they can get... and they can get some cool ones! SO.. if anyone wants to donate some TANKS so I can get a my pleco farm going.... :hmm3grin2orange:

They had some snowballs available the other day... I :1luvu: them! Would have brought one home if I could have possibly figured out WHERE to put it!

Sorry I have no idea. There was no lable on the tank it was in at ther LFS. I would think Dave 66 or one of the more knowledabel would be able to ID it though. :sconfused:

Thanks...hopefully somebody else will know :) I ask because it looks very similar to what my un-IDed pleco did as a juvie. BTW, You did take some lovely shots expecially of that snowball thanks for sharing!
