...or Burmese loaches.
They were $8.99 for two. One is a lot bigger than the other, but i hope it wount be a problem, although the small one looks pretty skinny. Anyways does anyone else have these guys? are they really any different to care for than my weather loach?
Thanks, I'll try to put up some pics tomorrow.

I have them! Their awesome. My favorite loach. It is the only one I've ever owned so I'm no help with the Q but they look the best to me hence why I have them. I first bought just two of them and that really didn't work out. they fought constantly. Their expensive here so I bought only two at first but quickly had to increase my school. Good luck! Here is a great link

Oh good! Well what veggies do you feed yours? pretty much everything?
And my small one is searching for food, should I feed the fish a little bit tonight? I've always heard not to feed new fish for 24 hours, but I usually do and they seem to be fine.
Its so cute, my larger loach, and my weather loach look like best friends in the tank, thier always together.

Cucumber and lettuce are the only veggies I feed. They really dont seem to care about algae wafers though. Even though I read that they eat them mine find them hang there for a minute and then go looking else where for food. Don't know whats up with that:ssuprised: Anyway, that is cute! I really love these guys they are always out and about and never really hide away anymore. When I added my first two they rarely came out and I had to excavate the tank to make sure they were still kicking:hmm3grin2orange: boy can they hide! But once they got a bit used to their new home all was good.

CUTE! They will start to come out a lot more after a while. Keep an eye on them though. Like I said when I had two they were good a few weeks and then they started fighting like crazy. No real harm was being done but it was stressing one out to an extreme. I had to get more and now they all school and they hardly ever hide.

Sure! They are really a very good choice of loach. Did you check out the link I sent. There color and pattern really changes a lot as they get older.

Mine thrive on small NLS pellets, and occasisonally frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp. You should have at least 3 more though, they're social fish and don't do well in pairs or alone. With only 2 the smaller fish will likely be hassled to death by the larger one over time.

you'll definitely enjoy them more if you have at least 4. They just do so much better in groups.
