What would be a loach apropriate for a tank with 4 silver dollars, 2 firemouth cchlids, 1 red tail black shark and one bristle nosed pleco? The tank size is 50-65 gallons.

IMO, Golden Zebra Loaches, Yoyo Loaches, and Loaches of a similar size. Just add a nice size group of them about 5.

The only trouble with Clowns is they after some time need a bigger tank, then a bigger tank till they are in a 200+ gallon tank.

IMO I would leave these fish out unless you have the tank that is the right size for them.

Sargeant Major Loaches would be cool too.

Clowns are probably not a good idea at this point. Go for a school of smaller loaches. Yoyos, dojos, polkadots, etc... would be a better fish to incorperate into that setup. Stick with at least 4.

At this point I wouldn't add anythings else to that tank. That tank already has a high bioload, no need to make it heavier.
