All,

My 6-year-old is going to do a project for her school science fair on the nitrogen cycle and how it works in an aquarium ... any ideas where I can get in-depth information ... needing way more than is in the e-book ... talking serious science knowledge ... thanks

Thanks! That is a great article. She is a smart girl and very into Daddy's aquarium ... it actually all started with her wanting a fish!

I've got two girls myself, 2 and 7. The seven year old likes fish and got a Betta for Christmas but the nitrogen cycle thing would be way over her head!! The seven year old's Betta actually rekindled my interest in fish, and I just bought a 55gal. in addition to my 29gal. (which will now be a gold fish tank).
