I was just wondering if any of you guys have a favorite loach or one you would really like to have but are finding them hard to get hold of.

I really like the clown loach but a close second is the polkadot loach.

So which do you guys like?

ALL... I keep going back and forth which will be my "next" loach. I can't decide! One second Sids, then skunks, the kubotais... you get the idea. :hmm3grin2orange:

Love clowns when they're small, not so much when they get big, and I don't have a large enough tank for them in the long run anyway. My fave for actually keeping in the 55-75 gallon tank range is Botia angelicus (aka polka-dot loach.)

Personally the Clown Loach is a favorite, though they're being followed by the oh-so-cute Dwarf Chain Loach (Y. sidthimunki).

My fav's which are tied, as both my fav's...lol....are the clown loach and the golden ring butterfly (sewellia lineolata) equally beautiful!! :ssmile:

dojo loach
they have amazing personalities. the one i had was like a very curious spy. he'd always disguise himself using my anubus, so just his head was sticking out.

My favorite loach that I have is my Acanthopsoides molobrion though my gastromyzon are closely catching up.

I would really love some schistura, prefferably the neon blues.
I like clowns but since there is no way in heck that I'll get them for a while, I've just forgotten about them.
