That's cute. He's liable to come flying out the top if you don't keep the lid on.

I have kept a group of thos and they never stopped. You will find that weather fronts will make him worse. You will get to know when your due rain.

Thanks guysss!!!
Hes very happy little guy :)) My other 2 stripeys just wiggle and swim around the tank and on OCCASION do little flips and go nutz - but mr.Blackie does it non-stop.. LOL
He makes me dizzy!
My Kulies use to do that. I found it stopped when I gave them more caves and plants. IMO and IME it is kind of like a security problem and they are trying to find a new place to hide, but they can't.
Great movie Demi.thumbs2:

My yo-yo loach does a similar thing, and will go on for half an hour at a time or more. It's pretty amusing.

I have two Schistura mahnerti and they do much the same. I have a bed of large smooth round rocks at both ends of the aquarium. So both swim straight up one corner of the tank, then dash to the other end where they rest a second or two, and up they swim for another dash back to the first end. They aren't doing it constantly though.
Piling up smooth round rocks (river rocks) is a great way to create hiding places; the loaches can fit under all the nooks and crannies.
