Fertisticks ?

Has anyone used this product? I have just converted my aquarium substrate to Eco Complete (from Flourite) and am wondering if it is really necessary to use them at this time or is it something I will require in the future? Thanks.

are you running c02? what kinds of plants do you have? what is your lighting setup and wattage? tank size?

I'm running a 90 gallon with the Coralife (Aqualight with 2-65W Actinic, 2-65W 10,000K lamp straight pin base) for lighting. No CO2 at this time as the plants have always grown extremely well.

Plants species are Glossostigma (this is a new plant for me), Anubias barteri (nana), Ludwigia Repens, Cryptocoryne Wendtii, Echinodorus Bleheri (Amazon Sword), Rotala (also a new plant for me - can't remember which one though - has a pink colour to leaves). Thanks.

I forgot to mention, I have my lights on a timer so 1/2 the wattage is on for 12 hours and full wattage is on for 4 hours. Seems to work okay so far....
