Over break me and my family went to a place called Cabela's. It was a huge place filled with fishing poles, rifles, camping gear, ect. But best of all they had an 8,000 gallon tank. It had northern pike, muskies, 3 types of gars, black crappies, bullhead catfish, and flannelmouth suckers.

yeah its like the Bass Pro Shop (outdoor world) down here in South Florida. Its an outdoor enthusiast candy store. Its full of any and everything out door from hunting to fishing to camping to diving.... you name it. I cant remember what size their tank is but its quite large.

they have bass, tarpon, catfish, snook, and quite a few others. I'll have to swing by one day and snap some pics.

It sounds like the right size tank for those fish!
That would have been really cool to see.

Did you happen to snap a few pics?

Where is this Cabellas you speak of? Is it a big chain type store? I'm just curious, because I know of one a couple hours south of me here in Utah.

FYI Northern Guy.... We have a Bass Pro Shop in Ontario too, it is between Toronto and Barrie (off of Hwy 400), near Canada's Wonderland. They have a massive tank too.

I goto a Cabela's in Dundee, Michigan... muskie, bass, pickeral, perch.. everything.. there's a catfish that could swallow a person easily! Entire trees are submerged... quite an impressive display.

Bass Pro Shops is based in Springfield, Missouri. It's the largest indoor place I've seen.

During my truckin days I managed to all the Cabelas stores

Impressive displays of North American animals.
Massive tanks full of Native fish, they have a stream that starts as a waterfall and meanders through the store with trout, beavers and muskrats!

It's worth spending a day just to see the displays.

Also been to the Bass Pro Headquarters in Mo., I prefer Cabelasthumbs2:
