goldfish with short finned eels

Hey i have a 52 gallon tank with several goldfish and when i was catching wild plague minnows for my oscars to eat i caught a baby short finned eel of about 4" and i put it with the goldfish he hasnt seemed to touch the golds but he has grown a couple of days later i caught another and yesterday i caught another so i have 3 baby eels of about 4" - 5" living with the goldfish is this safe???

Well you leave out an important bit of information. How large are the goldfish?

much lagrer then the eels mouth, the smallest goldfish is about 1 and a half inches long
