just took a look at my 125g and noticed theres a ton of corals that are growing huge, mainly some of my zoa patches and my fuzzy mushrooms

most of you probably remember, i bought this 3g nanoreef kit about 6 months ago at a discount aquarium warehouse for $60 ($100 at big als). it came with a 18w PC 50/50 light and a small HOB filter. the tank got going, but like my 55g i moved all of the livestock to the 125g

i figure this would make the perfect frag tank. im upgrading the lighting though, ive got a 2x8w T5 that would let me keep any coral in the tank, and it fits the tank perfectly. i just need to get some eggcrate and PVC now for shelfs. the tank looks like this. not my pic, but its the same tank

i can get pics of it later, first im going to see if theres any way i can hang the light from the ceiling

Hang the light like you would over a pool table.Just use adjustable chains and hooks.:22:

Lovely. Is the tank going to have a sump?

sump on a 3g would be impossible. to get the water into the sump i would need a tiny overflow and a tiny return pump. ive seen it done before but its nearly impossible

Yeah, I've seen it too, which is why I asked, I'm going to go try to find one.

EDIT: Here's a fug set-up I found on a 1.8g: http://i367.photobucket.com/albums/oo115/mykul916/IMG_6761.jpg
