We noticed this coral as a hitchiker when we first got our torch, and never thought much of it because it was small, but now its becoming more noticeable. I know its a type of encrusting coral, but we were just curious as to what type it was. This is the best pic I could get whit where it is located

May be a pest or harmless hitch-hiker, doesn't appear to be a coral. If it spreads you may want to get rid of it as well.

It could be an encrusting gorgonian but I'd have to agree with Kaybee, more likely just a hitchhiker, possibly a bryozoan of some kind.

I goggled both things mentioned and it actually appears to be an encrusting gorgonian. The picture doesn't do it justtice as to how it actually looks I forgot to mention that is does react to light. Its only open during the day. Thank you
