Hey guys, well i found this last night while i was looking for something to keep track of my tank, and all my expenses, livestock and take care of scheduling.
This is an awesome program which keeps track of all that!
check it out, it can even tell you when u need to do something, you can keep track of when you bought fish and equipment, and when u lose them.

Take a look: http://www.infinitysoft.net/ReefCon/

I had this program and uninstalled it. It can be useful if you like it, however it is missing a number of species. Hopefully they've updated the species list since I tried it.

GB, i don't use the species part of it much, but thta can be updated online once u have it downloaded.

The update is 4 years old. ;) That program was made in 2003 and updated in 2004. :)

I think if I ever get to the point where I need a program to keep track of my fish tanks, then I'm in serious trouble and need to think about cutting back!

lol korith, its juts easier to put them into the computer rather than having pages and pages of history :P. you can record when fihs go in and when they die, the expenses, and all sorts of stuff. would be excellent for those with aquarium stores, keep track of every tank, and instead of death, you put in the date sold, and u can keep track of the water parameters, especially when u cycle new tanks, so u can easily see the spikes and stuff ( it shows a graph of you parameters.

I use to keep track of a lot of different stuff on my computer years ago, until it got a virus and I lost everything, (duhhh, didn't make backups). :14: Now, I am a tablet and pencil kind of person. thumbs2:

I know this post is a little old but I had to post this... That is a link for reefcon pro download. I did a google search and found it. Also, as others stated it does not work on x64 vista (and quite possibly x64 XP) but works fine on vista x32. And... vista is not that bad (IMO) if you know how to tweak it. http://www.brothersoft.com/reefcon-pro-download-133781.html

Again, I wish this worked for me.

How old is it? If there is a chance it will work with an emulator I could try to get it working for you vista users.

Anyone tried compatibility mode or anything simple like that? I guess I will re download and see what can be done

WT, I used it with XP. There is actually a version that works with XP. I would expect simply running it as compatible with XP would allow it to work.

Unfortunately since they are so different, that often doesnt work but will be the first thing I try.

Worst case scenario I will package an emulator with the program and instructions for everyone.

That would be good. Hey, if you are handy with Linux, then running a virtual machine with any Microsoft OS is easy. :)
