Well, they perfer soft, acidic water, planted, and a minimum, I think, is a 20 gallon. They also like being in groups of six or more. I guess they're really not that much different than regular tiger barbs. !as that the answer you were looking for?

Are they as aggressive as tiger barbs?

As far as I know cer they are all pretty much the same temperament!
If you are getting these make sure you get a small school5-6.They will pay more attention to each other instead of going after other tank mates.
