Coral banded shrimp pinched brain

My brain hasn't fully opened in 2 days, during the day or at night, and I saw some tissue damage today, so I'm assuming my coral banded shrimp pinched it at some point during the night on his quest for food. I've seen the shrimp hanging out near the brain at night. Hopefully the brain will pull through, but I'm gonna try an catch the shrimp and toss him in the fuge. Don't need him damageing $40 corals again

Too bad about your coral I hope it isnt damaged permanently.

Lol, thank you. I hope it isn't either, its our most expensive one. Unfortunately I've heard they don't do well after being injured, is there any way to ensure its survival other then keeping calcium levels up and water clean?

edit: I'm gonna try and trade the CBS for another cleaner shrimp, not a the lfs but with a member of the local reef club.

After setting up the t-5's the brain decided to open up, so its looking like its making a recovery
