Very cool pics Brookfish, I used to have a frontosa. Then I sold, probably the worst choice then. They're very cool fish.

I traded my first colony, biggest mistake I ever made in 15 yrs of fishkeeping
I intend to hold on to these ones and enjoy.thumbs2:

Yes they do have a sad kind of look about them, but I like that.

I guess because of the mouth droop, and the big 'puppy dog' eyes, but still very beautiful fish.

I think they can get a little bigger than a feet, at their max. size.

The Frontosas can reach 14-16" The Calvus will max out around 6"
