Ok guys I think I wanna get back into tanks but I don't think it is much possible. I have a 20gL on my back porch right now. I am thinking like fish from around my area of Arkansas. Mainly because I ain't got a pet store within an hour of me anymore, when I quit they went out of business! What kind of stuff you recommend as far as live stock? 20gL and I still gotta get filters and what not. I want it low maintenance because I am gonna try to enjoy this tank. I was thinking of like 2 maybe 3 sunfish. How big does a bull head catfish get? Would 2 crappie be too much? I need opinions ppl! Man this thing is gonna stink also ain't it?

Bullhead and sunfish IMO get too big for a 20L. Same with crappie.

If there is no fish from around here that I like that I can keep then I won't do it because I ain't buying another tank LOL! I do have a 29g laying around maybe though but it looks like crap.

We have what we call silver dollar perch but them things are ugly. We also have rice slicks here which are kinda cool. What I wanna keep is red ear bream but they get like 3 lbs so there off the list.

Arkansas has a lot of natives that would be nice in a 20g tank. Some of them are hard to catch. The Slender madtom is one that would be great in a tank that size, however it is on the endangered list so I dont know if you can collect them. You might join the NANFA forum and see if they have any members is your area the collect. They would have a better idea of whats available.
