I Have A Cory That Looks Like He Has White Spot Diesese?i Dont Know If That Is What He Has Or If He Is Just Old. He Is 1 Yr Old. Also If He Does Have This Will It Affect The Other Fish In My Tank.

Correct me if I am wrong but I always thought Ich was a parasite not a fungus?:confused:

OK No matter what you want to call it Ick, Ich, White spot ...it is still not a fungus it is a parasite. Right??

So you have to treat for parasites not fungus. Your LPS has the meds you need tell them what you have and they can show you where to get the proper meds I personally think that Ich Guard is the best to treat Ich, Ick, White spot disease...but I hear LifeGuard is good for just about everything you can think of.

Oh yes the one Hobbs said is great as well...There are lots of things you can do to help you lil fishie...
Also I almost forgot to tell you turn up the temp of the tank if possible...the heat makes the Ich go through all of it's stages alot faster. Either your LPS or the med bottle should tell you what temp to go up to...I am not sure. Good Luck!

Just a note, turning up the heat means 80-82F, no higher or you will kill your fish. Also, you should raise the temp. slowly as to not stress them anymore.
