I plan on getting a 16 gallon bowfront starter kit from Petsmart that comes with an Aqueon filter and heater. I left the hobby right before their products entered the market, so I am unfamiliar with their products. From what I understand, they are associated with Tetra, but I'm not sure how. So my question is are they good products? Also, how are the associated with Tetra? Thanks!

aqueon is the new name of all-glass i believe, so their products are good

I have the exact set up you are asking about, and so far I am pretty pleased. The only thing that has happened is the door up top broke off its hinges, but its not really a big deal it still sits on there fine.

yeah i have their 36 gal bowfront. only problem i have had as well is the hinge for the door on top broke
