Newbie

I am new to this thread. I've been involved in many aquariums and have had a leave of absense from it for about 2 years. Used to have a 55 gal. a 75 gal and several 20 and 30 gal tanks with experience from community to African cichlids (this was my favorite) to saltwater for a short period. I would like to get started again and have saved only a nice 20 gal with stand for my den. So, I need to start there and am looking for suggestions from the many informed members here. I would love the cichlid tank again, but it seems to me that 20 gal. is not going to cut it. Any suggestions are appreciated. I am looking forward to many conversations here on my favorite hobby.
