Does anyone know a site for me to find a good local Discus breeder. I live on Long Island I'm thinking this shouldn't be too difficult, but 20 minutes of google searching has got me nowhere...I may be turning my 55gal planted corner tank into a discus tank real soon. Obviously moving most of the fish in there now into a brand new tank.

oh thats a good idea, thanks cocoa...

There's no website, or like directory online somewhere where you can search out breeders locally???

I found this site last night http://www.discushatchery.com/. It's not local for me but do you guys think the prices are fair? Does it seem reputable? I really like the red spotted leopard's but at $60 a pop for the smallest available that may be out of my price range.

Also, I've never had fish shipped to me... Can someone shed a little light on that for me... How is it done without almost always killing the fish. Especially something as delicate as a discus

Cocoa--I guess they are labeled so they don't get thrown around? And they would have to be like "next day air" right??

Btate- Thank you for the link I'm looking at it now, much appreciated!
