I collected some live plants from a shallow puddle near a river. I rinsed in water and put it in my tank. Did I just introduce worms and diseases to my tank? I feel like such an idiot!

I would have quarantined the plants and would not have gotten them , not knowing what they were. If they are local, then they probably need cold water and will just die in your tank.

They are in a cold water tank and I believe I know what they are just cant remember the name
Should I take them out? the white clouds love them
EDIT: I believe they are lysimachia nummularias

personally, i would remove them asap. there's no telling what kind "life" is lurking on/in them.
