I was wondering (I have looked everywhere) if anyone can specify the growth rate for a GSP.

I had gotten my Puff-G last New years Eve. I had posted a pic last year. He's doing great. Just love him and he's very happy. He's grown about about 1/2 to 3/4 inches. Got him when he was at around 1 1/2 inches. I feed him fit in his mouth snails, small oysters, brine and ghost shrimp (gut fed w/ algae), blood worms, (not all at once, of course) WC once a week, maintain the SG from .012-015.
My Calvus have grown faster than he has and I thougt they were suppose to be slow gro.

They grow slow but steady (maxing out at 6"), but they're 'girthy' fish.

Thanks kaybee,
I was wanting to know how long (on adverage) does it take for a GSP to reach maturity, full marine, 6". (I'm not always clear on my questions, Oops. )My guy isn't girthy yet, but have seen some GSP at that size(6") on the web, they just "Hulk Out", too cool. No one posts the age of the them at that size.
They just show the pics. Happy New Year!!!!! :19:
