I got my 90 gallon tank all set up and running on the 21 of december and got the ammonia to 4 ppm.I have checked ammonia and nitrites everyday since and no ammonia drop and no nitrites registering. Its been seven days and i have been reading on here that after a couple days nitrites should be registering.Should i be concerned yet or could it just be taking longer?
Its gonna be a cichlid tank and i have gravel and rocks piled in it with two aquaclear 110 for filters.I even added some used filter material from one of my other tanks two days ago.So any help is much appreciated.

All water, ammonia, temps and pH are all different in each tank so not all take exactly the same amount of time. Keep your temps up and aerate your water to help move things along.

Cycling is the hardest part of keeping an aquarium.
Have patience,it will be over soon and you will never have to cycle again.
