Hi ,
I have a 4 ft big fresh water tank and a fish pot too .
I have two queries ...
1) My freshwater tank :
Well its a 4feet big . And in that I have 2 guramis , 2 Red fin shark , 3 tiger barbs and 7 Tin foils and 2 sucker fish .
What all fish can i add in it ? Actully I am looking for something coloured .
I tried adding 2 tiger sharks in it , but the next day In the morning i saw both of them dead . I would like to keep some coloured fish tooo .
2) My Fish Pot .
I have a Fish pot in which I ahve a gold gish and a small sucker .
Can I put the gold fish in the Freshwater tank ?
Which fish live with Gold fish ?
I also would like to insert some live plants in the Freshwater tank . IS there any specific plants i have to grow keeping my fishes in mind . please suggest some plants for begining .
Thank you

Welcome to the forum.
With the large tank is that tropical?
I have two queries ...

Do you know what type of Gouramis you have?
Now with the 3 Red-Fin Sharks there is a problem. Really in circumstance should these fish be housed together. Even in the wild these fish try to keep away from each-other. The only time they seem to tolerate each-other is in breeding season when they will pair up. IMO I would return one of these Sharks.
As for the Tiger Barbs that really is a problem. These fish are highly active and very nippy. So anything with long fins which can't look after it's self will get harassed, nipped and possibly even killed by the Tiger Barbs.
With the Tin Foil Barbs these fish grow very large and need a large tank. Because the potential size of these fish is 15+ inches. But these fish are not slow at that size.
In reality a 200 gallon tank is better suited for these wonderful fish.
IMO I would return these fish.
Do you know what type of Sucker fish you have? Are they Siamese Algae Eaters? Flying Fox? Chinese Algae Eaters? Or lastly Ottocinclus, or some type of Pleco?
With these Tiger Sharks could you post a pic please. Because unless the shop has given a odd name to the fish, it sounds like you might have had a true salt water shark which will grow large enough to live in the ocean, and eat large creatures like Seals.
2) My Fish Pot .

Just a question what type of Gold fish is it? Also how big is the fish pot?
As for keeping fish with gold fish there is no real problem, unless they are tropical fish. The Gold fish come from more colder region and like to have mild temperatures of around 10'c-16'c, and even lower depending. So as for keeping fish with them you can keep fish that are subtropical.
IME and IMO I would never keep Gold fish with other fish that are not from the same temperature requirements. Also these fish are really better suited to a pond, not a fish tank.
Another thing Gold fish are great at creating toxic waste. So unless large amounts of water changes or you have a great filter your Suckers IMO will not be very happy in the tank.
I also would like to insert some live plants in the Freshwater tank . IS there any specific plants i have to grow keeping my fishes in mind . please suggest some plants for begining .
Thank you
As for plants IMO I would think you would have trouble with the Tin Foil Barbs. I have heard of them eating plants. Other wise the rest of your fish will like the plants. What is the lighting on your tank?
Hope this helps.
