New tank set-up

It's not a completelly NEW tank, but its a new tank set-up. New plants and stuff, completelly changed the look of the tank.

Now heres my question: I have a good 7 or so inches free in there, would a Rainbow Shark (http://www.plantedtank.net/fishprofiles/Redfin-Rainbow-Shark-Epalzeorhynchos-frenatum/127/) go well in there? I have rasboras and kissing gouramis in there atm, so it seems like the kissers and the shark would balance out each other since their both semi-aggressive, and no, my rasboras never get picked on.

Its a 26 gallon. The only "problem" I have with it is that its taller than it is wide... good for the angels I had in there, but limits the size of the fish I can keep in there somewhat. It doesnt matter if you have more than 3 times what a fish needs if it can't turn around >.<

I'd reccomend something that doesn't get to be so large, 6"+ is way too big for a 26T. IMO

Most rainbow sharks will only get up to 4 inches in an aquarium. I would only reccomend you getting one if you have a hiding spot for him that he can call his own. I have one and he is territorial to my guppies about his rock cave.

I have at least one cave he can use, and under the bridge is open as well. If he doesn't take to one of those places, I'll make my own cave out of pvc (with gravel and silicone). the kissers sometimes use the bridge, but they dont like the cave, and neither do the rasboras.

Do you have a bigger tank, because the gouramis will need more room when they are old. If you don't I wouldn't be adding more fish.

Well, my aunt kept 2 kissing gouramis in a 20 gallon tall for 12 years before she had to move, and I grew up with them in my moms house, and for all I know their still alive. So I'm thinking these will work out in my tank... if not, then I'll buy a bigger tank.
