I have recently applied for a volunteer packet at my local zoo. There is no reason why i shouldnt be accepted, and i hope i can get hooked up with the aquatic section. I figured it would be a good way to learn more about fish, and get some large scale hands on experiance.

That sounds like a really great idea. I must admit that if you get to work in the aquatic section I will be jealous.

I sure am hoping that i do get to. I wont be able to work till about february 10th (the end of wrestling season) and i wont be able to get a real job untill school gets out, ill have all of this extra time i use to spend at practices and duels and tournaments, to play around with. Im hoping it will be a good learning experiance.

oh how exciting! even if you don't get the aquatics section the rest of the zoo positions must be fun. (unless you're the poop cleaner, then maybe that wouldn't be fun)

I worked at a vets office so I know first hand, Poop cleaning is no fun.
I was a pooper scooper, dog walker, kibble disher scratching post.

I am going to specifically apply for the aquatic section. Poop scooping is not something i would do without getting paid:ezpi_wink1:

Yes, elephant pooper scooper is not a fun job. One year my daughter's girl scout troop got to have a "special" preview/learning experience with the circus and we got a show before the regular show. Apparently all animals are fed an hour before the show so they gets all their poopin outta the way so to speak......egads....the size of those shovels!!!
She doesn't complain about the dog poo anymore:hmm3grin2orange:

When you mentioned "Black Mini" I thought of a car and nearly fell of my chair at the thought of it drinking out of the fish tank!
