You say you don't have alot of light. your halfway there. Having a lot of light will make almost all plants dies over one week. Also don't forget Fish love to eat plants and they all destroy them depending on your fish.
Great plants for first timers that grow very fast in one day.
Anacharis plants,Wisteria and jungle Val.
After a Few month of having plants I recomand Ludwigia and Moneyworth plants
After much experience I recomand Bananna plants, Sword plants and Cabombas
I have all of these plants in my taknks.

Thats not necessarily true. Some plants require a lot of light, it just depends on the type of plant.
As far as plants, I would recommend anarchis, as it is very hardy, and grows like crazy, and java moss, as it is similar to anarchis.

I agree with kufan, anarchis, java moss and also java fern should all grow well with low light. They can all be attached to your intended driftwood too which looks nice. I attach my plants with plain old brown sewing thread :thumb:

There are sites that lists good low light and high light plants and also those that go well with your pH. Also ...plants that do OK without CO2 and others that need it.
